| Your wedding is one of the most important days of your
life and it needs to go smoothly and with a lot of fun! Over the years I've had
the privilege of DJing literally hundreds of weddings and over that time, I've
learned what to do and more importantly what not to do! Wedding reception music definitely requires the most variety. Reception guests can range in age from 1 to 100 and the music needs to be appropriate for all. Typical reception music consists of slow and fast songs from the Big Band era up to today's Pop/Dance/Hip Hop. In between you have Oldies, Country, Rock, Polkas, Waltzes, Top 40 and more. I have music from all categories and will play requests all night! I also have clean versions of popular songs that have profanity in them. Typical wedding reception festivities that I'm happy to take care of for you include: · Bride and Groom Introduction · Music During Dinner · Cutting of the Wedding Cake · Bride & Groom Dance · Bridal Party Dance · Father/Daughter Dance · Mother/Groom Dance · Throwing of the Bouquet · Garter Ceremony · Dollar Dance Plus any and all special requests and/or events the Bride and Groom would like. These events typically take place at different times during the reception - usually in the first couple of hours when all the guests are sure to be still in attendance. But the order and timing is totally up to you! |
