Music Library From Seven Different Decades!

A Little Background:

My name is Scott Mrozek and I've been involved with music in one form or another since the 1970's. I began providing musical entertainment in the mid 1980's in Lapeer County and have since been all over the state of Michigan for weddings, dances, roller rinks, pubs and parties of all kinds.

About 15 years ago my wife and I moved up to Sandusky to start and raise a family, so I hung up my DJ speakers to commit my time for that. Fast-forward to today, my kids are no longer toddlers and I recently got the support from my wife to get back in the swing of things with DJing (she was my DJ partner for years). My oldest daughter is excited to now help me out with this!

My DJ Style/Philosophies:

I pride myself with playing music that is 100% appropriate for the event behing held. This means a large mix of different music. For example:

Wedding Receptions - Oldies, Top 40, Current Dance, Country, Big Band, Classic Rock & Roll, the Standards, etc. - something for everybody in attendance.

School Dances/Proms - Of course the students want us to play the Current Dance, Hip Hop, etc.

Various Parties - No matter the type of party (Reunion, Retirement, Graduation, Holiday or just a regular Party), the music will be appropriate.

I take requests all night no matter what type of party or dance I'm doing, and as long as it's appropriate I'll play it. Of course if the Bride and/or Groom, Party Host or other person in charge of the party requests anything specific, I'll be happy to oblige!

I've attended a few wedding receptions as a guest these last few years and I am occasionally thrown for a loop with the selection of music other DJs play without regard of the whole crowd in attendance. I think anybody would agree that playing Aerosmith or Def Leppard at full volume immediately following dinner really isn't that appropriate (I've witnessed it!). Now, no two parties are the same, but typically as the night grows later the crowd becomes younger, and the party takes on a dance/night club type of atmosphere and I'm happy to accomodate that with the appropriate music! The music that's played can make or break the success of any party, and I take great care in playing music to keep the party going!

I emcee as much as needed and no more. I talk and announce as little or as much as asked to. My sole purpose is to be there to provide the music and fun so the guests enjoy themselves. I am not there to try to steal the show or be the center of attention.

At your request I'll meet with you in person for as long as you'd like to discuss anything and everything pertaining to your event. I feel this is the best way to confirm all the details and to make sure everything goes as planned.
